FloWell breaks down paraffin wax at the molecular level, returning it to a liquid state and preventing reformation. Unlike heat tracing or harsh solvents like xylene, FloWell works safely and effectively within the oil flow, locking paraffin in its liquid phase—even under sub-zero conditions.

Water acts as a safe, cost-effective carrier for FloWell’s active components. Surfactants in the formula ensure it mixes thoroughly into the oil stream, targeting paraffin throughout the system without environmental or safety risks.

No. In fact, FloWell helps separate oil from water, improving separator efficiency. It prevents emulsification and encourages oil to rise cleanly from solids and water.

FloWell performs best under turbulent conditions—such as at the wellhead or just before pumps—where it can fully disperse through the oil stream. While heat isn't required, warmer oil aids distribution by reducing viscosity.

FloWell eliminates the need for pigging, scraping, or solvent injections. These traditional methods are costly, temporary, and often ineffective. FloWell works continuously without halting production, boosting flow and revenue with less downtime.

While corrective dosing is possible, continuous application is recommended. It prevents wax buildup and ensures stable production rates, ultimately paying for itself through improved uptime and performance.

FloWell prevents flow issues after planned shutdowns. In trials, production that once took weeks to return to normal was restored within hours thanks to FloWell’s ability to keep wax in liquid form, even during cool-down periods.

FloWell can be dosed through existing metering pumps or, if necessary, pre-mixed and pumped into the annulus. Our technical team will assess your setup and provide tailored dosing instructions.

Each project is unique. After completing a short technical assessment, we’ll provide a specification with the correct starting dose—often 200 PPM for light/medium crude—and advise adjustments based on performance and telemetry data.

Yes. FloWell is highly efficient. Overdosing can release too much wax too quickly, temporarily restricting flow. That’s why we carefully monitor and optimize the dose for each application.

No. FloWell must be applied independently. DRAs require laminar flow and don’t remove wax. In fact, they can interfere with FloWell’s performance. Once DRAs are stopped, FloWell delivers significantly better results.

Most applications see a significant uplift—up to 60% in some cases—by restoring lost flow capacity and removing restrictions caused by paraffin buildup.

Yes. FloWell must not freeze or be diluted (unless specified). It should be stored sealed, away from heat and contamination. While rated hazmat 000 (non-hazardous), normal handling precautions are advised per the MSDS.

Small systems may show results in under 48 hours. For longer pipelines, full effects depend on flow time, but results are typically visible within days.

Yes. FloWell has proven effective in condensate projects, including in sub-zero climates. It prevents reformation and liquefies wax bonded to internal surfaces, as seen in successful field applications.

FloWell-treated paraffin remains in a slush-like state even below freezing and liquefies again at ambient temperature—proving the transformation is stable and lasting under field conditions.

FloWell is effective across API grades. Dosage is based on paraffin content and wax appearance temperature, not just oil grade. Our team will analyze your oil sample to determine the optimal application plan.

Yes, but results may vary due to lab limitations. We recommend using untreated, wellhead-sourced oil for best results. All real-world field applications to date have been successful.
